Best of his work right from the startBy Adaiah EarlyBook 2 of "the Wars of the Realm: The rise of the fallen" chapters 12, describes a picture of heaven before the fall, as interpreted by the author, based on the biblical description provided in the passages from the bible. I was pondering the fact that I would give everything to have even 30 seconds in heaven -and have given everything, after a fashion, when I surrendered my life to my beloved Savor. I then wondered what the most precious treasure it would be, to be permitted to bring even the tiniest, most insignificant souvenir back with me. I then realized that I already had unrestricted access to a piece of heaven, and what a piece it is! Many take for granted the value and power of a single word spoken by God. And to think, we have free access to the words of God in the Bible that someone had the sense to listen and write down for us so many years ago, and took measures to protect the purity of the message there in. I felt a thorough "duh!" moment when I came to this realization. "Why didn't I see this before?!"I hope this thought strengthens and encourages you in your faith at it has for me. If you are not yet a Believer in Christ as your Lord and most Loving Savior, I pray this will cause you consider beliefs carefully. Don't put off this decision. No one is guaranteed the time. Fun and Exceptional ReadingBy davisdarlsAn extremely enjoyable read which affected me quite dramatically. Most of this book is seen through the eyes of Validus, the last created Angel and gives greater insight into book one, The Cloak of Light. You'll see glimpses into this Angels past where you're taken beyond the ordinary as you travel inter-dimensionally, in a timeline of experiences before Creation to current time. Book one and two are perfectly pulled together toward the end, where after your discovery, you'll want to purchase the last book! While being fun and exceptional reading, I also found this book inspiring, challenging and impacting. There are characters and situations described here which stirred a craving in me to abandon mediocrity, and carelessness. To live life to the full and completely surrendered. I found myself hungry to know God more, on my knees in prayer and very glad to be so. And I will be buying Book Three!5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Excellent BookBy Andrew77Many works - specifically trilogies - tend to have a strong beginning and a good end, but falter during the middle. Having thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the series, I was desperately hoping that the second book would be just as good. Fortunately, it does not fall short, and was also immensely enjoyable to read. I would highly recommend it, though of course only after reading "Cloak of the Light" first.
