He's not looking for power and control, well mostly. He's running for US Senate and is the clear favorite. But when a disgruntled constituent threatens his younger sister, Molly, and her best friend, Jenny Chase, Asher's demeanor becomes much more protective and much less politic. Jenny has been crushing on Ash since high school. Now that he's become "most eligible" everything she figured she has no chance with him. But when she's threatened Asher realizes he's been an idiot to ignore Jenny. When it comes to be known that Jenny's sister just married Jared Westin of the Titan Group, all bets are off and security is heightened for all involved. Although the Congressman seems to have the least amount of security, and no entourage, his youth may account for that unlikely scenario. Otherwise, the intrigue, fast pace and action packed scenarios make this an exciting and rewarding novella.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. StalkerBy KarliJenny Chase is an actress and Sugar's sister, referred to in earlier books when she helps out at GUNS, their gun shop and firing range. Asher is Jenny's best friend's brother, a congressman running for election for senator from New York, and Jenny's longtime fantasy. Asher has a stalker, though, and the stalker just upped the ante by threatening Molly and Jenny. Then Asher learns "Maxwell", the stalker, approached Jenny at a recent audition, and suddenly his priorities realign. He can no longer stay away from Jenny. And to keep her safe is going to take more than what the FBI can provide.This is a short novella that focuses on a peripheral character in the series thus far. While I liked it, I didn't love it. It doesn't have the depth and intensity of the longer books and feels more like filler until the next book comes out. It could have been much better. Short and worth the pennies!By Naughty Book SnitchAre you kidding me? Im not really sure where to begin with this and Im not sure how I can convey how much I love this little novella. There is SO much story packed into this novella that it makes you feel like you're reading a full length book.Jenny Chase is Sugar's sister (we met her in Westin's Chase) and Jenny has been in love with her BFF's brother Asher McIntyre for as long as she can remember. Ash is a Politician and has been focused on himself and his career. However, he's always noticed Jenny and knew she'd be a distraction. Well, not anymore!Holy Hotness Batman!! The characters, chemistry, the tie in with the Titan Group and the sex... just WOW! I really think Harber's writing gets better with each book.I LOVE THE TITAN GROUP
