I like sc- fi and the genre of children's fiction and ...By J BullfrogI like sc- fi and the genre of children's fiction and if you have all the time in the world - or if you want to imagine that you have all the time in the world - then you will definitely enjoy this book - it took me to an 'other' sort of place to take part in the comings and goings - the meandering journey and quality of life of the children who are the speakers and witnesses to the story of Splickety Village- and its odd kind of populace. I say there is no violence in the book but there is battle except it is never seeming so very violent as real life is and this is why I like it - it gave me time put, and I didn't worry too much about loosing my plot.
