About the AuthorI am Gene Poschman, born June 6, 1947, my parents three-year celebration of US troops landing on Normandy. I married my high school sweetheart and we are still together, more from her understanding than any greatness upon my part. Writing took a back seat as I wrote white papers, newsletters, and taught others how to live with computers. I am now a retired Programmer Analyst Consultant and I write Fiction. My current project is a series of Detective Adventure Mystery novels circa 1930s. You might classify them as light Film Noir in the style of Dashiell Hammett or Raymond Chandler with a "romantic" edge. Think of "Castle" in the genre of 1930 film noir, but as a gifted Private Detective. The series is called "Jonas Watcher". I have self-published two books, "The Case of the Running Bag" and "The Case of the Bourbon Street Hustler", I am working on a third book, "The Case of the Jade Dragon" and I have four more that have been outlined to some degree.
