About the AuthorI have been interested in writing since childhood. I grew up on the east coast on Long Island, NY in a small-town environment. As the oldest child of a middle-class Italian/American family, my life was engrossed with amazing adventures and tales that I like to share through my writings.I married my true love, after corresponding with him during his tour of duty of the Viet Nam war. We settled in a small, farming town in Northern California where he had been raised and my life as a married woman began.Our children arrived a few years later; first our son and two years later, our daughter. Life was so happy with our little family, and this life gave me more inspirations for my future writings. When our children were ready to attend elementary school, I became involved in the school system. Having worked as a paraprofessional for over 25 years, I attained the knowledge and understanding of how different and diverse the lives of the children in my care were. My career path also afforded me the opportunity to teach religious instructions, become a 4-H leader and manage our local Bobby Sox softball team.
