People who have read it and have had the chance to hear from the Author have all felt that way. Here are some excerpts:a. "....Explore a forest! You can go somewhere, pretend it's a forest and explore it!......" Imagination and creativity at its best they all thought!b. ".....And if you don't want to be told on, don't do bad things....." This is a very powerful positive message and it is recommendable for everyone, young and old to read and learn.c. ".....I held a fist. I didn't release it. Until I remembered Martin Luther King. Don't use hands; use words, I recited until I released my fist...." Another positive and powerful message, and referencing the famous civil right leader, Dr. King.3. The book also contains several fresh games and songs which children, ages 9 to 14 can easily play. Something new for a fiction book.4. The book has lots of mysteries and abstract incidences. This includes weird dreams about a teaching job in the woods. About changing characters.5. The illustrations are also fresh creations, containing puzzles, which only the author knows about and would not release them yet.6. There are three chapters, of a follow-up book titled "Katie McChoir and the wild vampires!" that are included in this first book. A sneak pick as to Katie McChoir's future adventures that begins with the sentence "Sue is blind" Having read about Sue in the entire book, it brought tears to my eyes when I read that. Read on!!!!
