And Temperature Rising is the best so far. New author, John Avanzato, did it again by hooking me in the first few pages of the book. This is a tale of dark politics, a prostitution ring, and in the least expected place... Disneyland. Avanzato puts his main character, Dr. Cesari, right smack in the middle of it all, for another fast paced book that you won't be able to put down! Woven into the story are several familiar characters from the previous books, who are part of Cesari's non-stop soap opera antics. Temperature Rising is a definite must, but be sure to read the first two books first! PS! I won't give away the ending, only to say that I closed the book laughing and shaking my head. Poor Cesari... the writer leaves him in quite a pickle. I'm anxiously waiting for book four.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Scandalous!By Helen of TroyTemperature Rising is a gripping story of justice, and power run amuck by those privileged few who believe they are above the law. It is sure to cause controversy as Avanzato uses an action paradigm to lay out a tale of abuse and corruption that stretches all the way to the White House. His parody of real life politicians will give many a fair degree of indigestion as they squirm under his withering barrage of indictments. The story line is unique and compelling, dragging you in from the opening page of the prologue where the author gives you insight into to who he is and what he values. The book is fast paced and compelling and once started, you will not want to put it down! The ending feels like a roller-coaster coming to a sudden stop, leaving you breathless and wanting more. I can't wait to see what the political fall-out is going to be once this book catches fire but I guess that's what we have lawyers for. I tip my hat to the author for penning another great story!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. for me this was maybe my favorite in the seriesBy Pam DeRaddoOh my gosh....for me this was maybe my favorite in the series. Just loved how the author used the theme park backdrop (so family friendly) to bring out some of the not so family friendly drama! Oh and some of the things that are uncovered (BLUSHING) are just too much for my keyboard to process! Anyone who wants in on another fast paced, exciting adventure with the good doctor and some of his new friends (haha) will love this one!!!
