Do not confuse him with Dan Brown, another wonderful author, but very different. Don Brown is listed as a Christian writer, and his books include doubts of faith as well as finding of faith. However, I do not find him as "preachy" at all. I like that he can write about romance without graphic sex or violence. His characters come across as very real people. I thoroughly enjoyed the story line and would highly recommend if you are looking for a clean thriller.That said, I have to say I can't understand the logic of whoever put it on my "Christian" book deals listing. Except for the fact of no erotica, I would be hard put to find anything "Christian" about it. But that seems to be the "in" thing these days, to list a book as inspirational just because it might contain a one-time reference to prayer or church.Storming the Black Ice is just a good and well-written story, and that is why I give the author five stars.
