I enjoyed learning new things about technology, biology, and how government agencies deal with people who make scientific breakthroughs -- people they can exploit. It takes a brilliant mind to stay one step ahead of those who want to destroy everything the protagonist has achieved. When there is so much at stake, you can expect some spilled blood along the way.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Great Book - Loved the EndingBy Hillel KaminskyNo Spoilers Here! The plot was masterfully revealed, with just the right amount of uncertainty as to the identity and motives of the heroes and villains. There is a terrific surprise at the end that was truly unexpected, but made perfect sense once revealed. The ending is really good and very optimistic. There is a sequel, but this story is complete on its own.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great Read Cover to CoverBy David E. SarnaThis book kept me interested and in suspense. Interesting details on cybersecurity, bioengineering, gene manipulation and other cutting edge technologies. Obviously a healthy dose of science fiction, but told believably. Also lots of philosophy and discussion of eternal questions. I enjoyed it a lot but best for one with some background in these subjects, I think.
