Taking place in New Zealand, it's about a lost boy/man coming down from a traumatic experience as he travels to meet an old friend. It's sort a mystery, but is also about friendship and love and trying to come to terms with the complexities/realities of life. The other stories in this collection also stand out as examples of strong writing from a pillar of independent (non-commercialized) publishing.
