A question about prions...By KEY PAYTONI greatly enjoyed this second (actually third) book in the Fault Lines series, and am about to move into book 2/3, Flash Point. So I highly recommend all Locke's/Bunn's books!However, I have a question about the ending of this Trial Run book: What happened to the potentially deadly and all-consuming prion (based on Trent Majors' research) that Reese Clawson, Kevin Hanley and two scientists talked about in the Santa Barbara laboratory?I thought these scientists had already constructed this prion and a containment enclosure for it. But I read nothing about the prion's activities during the good guys' invasive shutdown of the Santa Barbara facility. Am I right? Or did I miss something?
