As it's the first in a trilogy, there is a slow build allowing for excellent character development and world building. This book introduces some interesting ideas around the capabilities of the human mind/brain and where our next evolutionary steps could take us. Not wanting to spoil anything I'll not dive too deep into the story, but any fan of near future sci-fi should enjoy this. The characters are well rounded, each having their own depth, humor, flaws and growth. The science is engaging and believable. I'm greatly looking forward to the next installment.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Amazing First NovelBy Just
